On October 17th through the 19th, the Rock the Fall festival will be echoing from the top of Blue Mountain. Festival-goers will rock out to three nights of concerts, with Saves the Day and Shiny Toy Guns on Friday, Soul Asylum and Cracker opening for Everclear on Saturday, and the country jams of Terri Clark and Tracy Lawrence closing out the event on Sunday. BLAIRSTOWN, NJ – Liquid Lightning will strike on Saturday, October 25th, 2008 at the Blairstown Airport, as the Vulcan Motor Club hosts the Runway Experience Event. Participants will have a chance to streak down a private mile-long airstrip in their choice of four exotic super-cars from the Vulcan Motor Club fleet!

Vulcan Motor Club offers members the unique opportunity to drive some of the world’s most energized sports cars. Vulcan gives its subscribers “the best of both worlds: all the heart-pounding emotion of driving an elite vehicle, with none of the inconveniences.”

A professional instructor will show drivers how to put world-class performance cars like the Ferrari F430 Spider, Lamborghini Murcielago, Ford GT, Audi R8, Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, Aston Martin DB9 and the Shelby Cobra through their paces. Participants will get the unbelievable experience of pushing these incredible exotic cars to the redline limit in a safe and thrilling environment!

As if that weren’t exciting enough, members will also have a chance to soar high above the Delaware Water Gap and Lehigh Valley in a free-flight glider journey! After being towed nearly a mile above the landing strip, riders will be free to soar in the thermal currents in the purest form of flying imaginable.
